ORMEWOOD PARK
Ormewood Park is located to the east of downtown between Grant Park, East Atlanta and the new Glenwood Park development. It is a lovely turn-of-the-century streetcar consisting mostly of Craftsman bungalows. It was originally developed in the early 1890's by the president of Georgia Power Company, who ran a streetcar line to the Confederate Soldiers Home on East Confederate Avenue which led to an explosion of residential development, mostly consisting of the Craftsman bungalows popular at that time.
