For years, a Saturday night in Peachtree Corners meant picking one thing. The Forum or the Town Green. Dinner or a concert. Kids at the splash pad or grown-ups at a wine bar. The two sides of Peachtree Parkway were close enough to see each other and just far enough apart to force a choice.
That is no longer the geometry of a summer evening here. The landmark pedestrian bridge over Peachtree Parkway, tied into the Corners Connector trail, has quietly turned two separate destinations into one continuous walk. The thesis of this summer is simple: Peachtree Corners is no longer a suburb with a town green attached to a shopping center. It is a working downtown that happens to sit inside a suburb, and the 2026 programming calendar is the first one built around that fact.
The Bridge Changed the Math
The Town Green is a two-plus-acre lawn inside a twenty-one-acre Town Center anchored by more than fifteen restaurants, retail, offices, and townhomes. The bridge at the main entrance carries pedestrians over Peachtree Parkway and links directly into the Corners Connector, the city's pedestrian and bike trail system, which lands on the other side at The Forum. What used to be a five-minute drive with a parking hunt is now a fifteen-minute stroll with a Vox Stage soundcheck audible the whole way.
That matters most on Summer Concert nights. Live music starts at 7:00 PM at the Vox Stage, with the headliner taking the stage between roughly 8:15 and 8:30. The 2026 lineup leans classic and danceable:
- Departure opens the series with a full Journey tribute set
- Big Bam Boom brings the Hall and Oates catalog to the Town Green later in the season
- The Soul Cartel rounds out the summer with an R&B, funk, and soul-heavy show
Concerts are free. Parking inside the Town Center deck fills first. When it does, the city routes overflow to 5051 Peachtree Corners Circle and to lots off Davinci Court, with a marked path back to the lawn. If you are coming by rideshare, the designated drop-off is the Piedmont Bank lot at 5100 Peachtree Parkway. Rolling coolers larger than six twenty-ounce containers are turned away, tarps and blankets left before 8:00 AM the day of the show may be removed, and pets are not permitted at concert events.
Where to Eat Before the Set
The concert rules note something residents already knew: you are expected to walk to a restaurant, order, and bring dinner back. What is new is how much of that inventory is on the Forum side of the bridge, not the Town Center side.
Politan Row at The Forum opened in January 2025 as a chef-driven, roughly ten-thousand-square-foot food hall with seven independent stalls, an outdoor patio facing green space, and a central bar. The current lineup includes 26 Thai, Kim Chi Red for Korean fried chicken and tteokbokki, Nori Island for halal sushi and hibachi, Buzzin Burgers, King's Chicken, and Bar Politan in the middle of it all. Millie's Pizzeria operates as the standalone restaurant and wine bar next door, run in partnership with the Bucatini team from Politan's Ashford Lane location. The hall runs 11 AM to 10 PM Monday through Thursday, 11 AM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 11 AM to 9 PM Sunday.
Two months ago, I Love Tacos, a tacos dorados concept built around deep-fried golden tacos, joined the roster. It is the kind of addition that only registers if you were already paying attention: the hall did not open a new location, it swapped a stall, which is exactly the model Politan runs everywhere from New Orleans to Colony Square. If you eat at Politan Row three times this summer, one of those meals will probably be at a vendor that was not there the last time you came.
The practical order of operations on a concert Saturday looks like this: park at The Forum, eat at Politan Row's patio around 6:00, cross the bridge with the crowd, claim a slice of lawn by 6:45, catch the opener at 7:00.
The Ride That Does Not Exist in Alpharetta
If you have driven Technology Parkway in the last year and seen a Toyota Sienna with no one obviously in charge of it, that was not a rendering. Since September 2024, May Mobility has been running its autonomous Toyota Sienna Autono-MaaS vehicles inside Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners, offering public rides in partnership with T-Mobile and the City. Curiosity Lab operates a three-mile connected corridor with a dedicated autonomous vehicle lane, 5G infrastructure, and roadside sensors integrated with C-V2X. It is one of the few places in the country where a resident can go for an actual driverless ride on an actual public street on an actual weekday.
Emily Heintz was appointed Executive Director of Curiosity Lab in late 2025 and has been public about the pipeline since: a Memorandum of Understanding signed with Japan's Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International in November 2025, a formal partnership with MUFG, and the ongoing Georgia Tech Atrium inside the Lab at 147 Technology Parkway, established April 21, 2025 with the Center for 21st Century Universities. If you have kids who are into robotics, the city has been running open-house style "Meet the Follow Bots" events at the Lab, which are more interesting than any zoo trip currently on offer within a twenty-mile radius.
One Night, Circle It
June 25, 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Hilton Atlanta Northeast at 5993 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Taste of Peachtree Corners, run by the Peachtree Corners Business Association.
Each guest receives a passport at check-in. You walk from station to station, sampling small plates from dozens of local restaurants, plus a limited number of invited "good neighbor" kitchens from Duluth, Norcross, and Johns Creek. Kumo Sushi was a standout in 2025. Tickets are available online in advance or at the door.
For a household that has already eaten its way through the standing rotation, Taste is the fastest way to figure out which of the newer arrivals actually deserves a repeat visit. Treat it as reconnaissance for the second half of summer.
What Is Under Construction, and What It Means for a Walk
Three quieter developments deserve a place on the mental map, because they change how the district will function by fall.
The Forum redevelopment. Phase I, which delivered the north-end plaza, a new 1,700-square-foot greenspace, and refreshed retail-facing public realm, ran from May 2023 to August 2024. North American Properties and Nuveen Real Estate have publicly outlined future phases that include multifamily housing and a boutique hotel. The office lobby at 5185, anchored by Trader Joe's, is now complete, and The Forum has partnered with the Peachtree Corners Photography Club to hang juried work in the revamped entrance.
The Crooked Creek Trail. The city hosted a public open house on January 8, 2026 for a proposed shared-use path running from Spalding Drive down toward Peachtree Corners Circle, with spurs and loops into adjacent neighborhoods. If it is built the way the concept describes it, more of the residential grid becomes walkable to Town Center without ever touching a stroad.
The former CinéBistro. The city has purchased the shuttered CinéBistro property inside Town Center using its Opportunity Fund. City Manager Brian Johnson has said publicly that adaptive reuse and residents' input will drive whatever comes next. Whatever it becomes, it will not be a boarded-up anchor across from the splash pad for much longer, and it is likely the most consequential single decision the Town Center will make this decade.
The Rest of the Calendar
Flicks on the Green returns, along with the Farmers Market, Light Up the Corners in the fall, and a new International and Cultural Festival added to the 2026 slate. The splash pad runs 9 AM to 7 PM daily. The Green itself is open 7 AM to 11 PM, no reserved spaces, no held spots. Percy the Chipmunk, the city's mascot, is technically retired to a magazine cover but continues to show up in surprising places.
